Kavel joined City Academy in March of 2022 as the Assistant Director of Finance. He was born and raised in Kingston, Jamaica, living in the “downtown” area for 18 years. He obtained a soccer scholarship in 2010 and earned his Bachelors in Management and Masters in Business Administration from McKendree University. Prior to coming to City Academy, Kavel was the Office Manager for an Intravascular company in Florida for 5+ years. He and his wife Amanda have one daughter, Shiylo.
