Monette DeSimone has been an educator since 2003. She joined the City Academy faculty in 2011. She holds a Masters Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Saint Louis University and is certified in both Early Childhood and Elementary Education. Monette is a member of Educators for Social Justice, the International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE), the National Science Teaching Association (NSTA), the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) and the National Association for Educators of Young Children (NAEYC). She has served on the Board of Directors of the St. Louis Teachers’ Recycle Center, Inc. and as the ISACS Teacher Representative for City Academy. Monette is also a Certified Facilitator for Novel Engineering.
