We are excited to offer you new ways to engage with our community this year! City Academy families are expected to complete 20 parent engagement hours every year, and you may have questions about how you can participate while adhering to our social distancing guidelines. No fear, you are in the right place! Below you can read more about your options for fulfilling your Parent Engagement hours for the 2022-2023 school year.

You are responsible for submitting any events or activities through the Parent Engagement Hours Form. The school will track your hours and give periodic updates, though you should also keep track of your hours for your personal record.

2022-23 Parent Engagement Program Options

If you are a new family, you've already committed to completing all of your Parent Engagement hours by participating in Incredible Years! You are still encouraged to attend other events offered this year, they are for your benefit and we want to see you!
We’ll offer a few on-campus events this year that you can help us bring to life from a safe distance! Whether you’d like to volunteer for the Book Fair planning committee or the Harvest Festival, there’s something for you! More events will be planned throughout the year, with dates to be announced!
From writing thank you notes, assembling packets, campus cleanup and more, keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to be announced in The Wednesday Weekly when they become available!
Attendance at these meetings count for Parent Engagement hours as well! Just make sure you report your attendance through the Parent Engagement Form.
