Why is tuition important?
The success of City Academy hinges upon the commitment of families to make education a financial priority, be actively involved in their child’s education and pay their tuition on a timely basis.
At City Academy, tuition is an important investment in an exceptional educational experience for your child(ren). When tuition is not satisfied, it becomes an obstacle to fully delivering our mission.
City Academy understands unexpected situations may arise. It is the family’s responsibility to contact the City Academy Business Office as soon as possible to review the financial situation and seek a mutually agreeable alternative tuition plan. We are committed to working together to find a suitable plan.
City Academy encourages all financially responsible parties to maintain open communications with the Business Office to ensure a complete understanding of each family’s financial circumstances. If a family’s tuition balance is two or more months behind, City Academy reserves the right to suspend or dismiss students.
How is tuition paid?
Tuition payments begin in July and are due on the 15th of each month. Once a family is accepted to City Academy, payment plans, payment amounts, and other relevant details will be arranged. All payments must be made on schedule for a family’s account to remain in good standing. Tuition account balances may not be carried from year to year.
Tuition payments are managed by Blackbaud Tuition Management. Payments can be made in one of three ways:
- Pay with Credit Card or ACH Bank Transfer Online.
- Login to your Blackbaud Tuition Management account to make credit card or ACH payments at: https://parent.blackbaud.school
- Pay by Phone.

- Pay with a Check.
- Checks must be mailed to:
- Blackbaud Tuition Management
- P.O. Box 11731
- Newark, NJ 07101-4731
- On your check, in the memo section, you must include your 13-digit Blackbaud Tuition Management account ID.
- Checks must be mailed to:
- Pay with Cash.
- Cash payments can be made in the front office.
