About Early & Extended Day
Extended Day programming is offered to City Academy students, every day, at no additional cost. Families can opt to enroll their student in either “Programming” or “Supervision.”
Students in programming participate in a range of enrichment opportunities based on their unique interests. On any given day, you may find City Academy students learning to bake, developing technical skills and building in robotics, playing tennis, taking a leadership course, and much more. These students will stay after school only on the days they have programming and need to be picked up when programs end.
Supervision provides after school supervision for students, Monday-Friday until 6:00 p.m. Students in Supervision will be able to choose between activities such as Homework Hall, Board Games, Outdoor Fun, Gym Play, Karaoke, and Movie Fridays. In addition, students in Supervision can register to participate in one of City Academy’s “premiere” after school programs, depending on their grade level, such as: Tennis & Life Skills, Girl Scouts, and Step Team (for Quarter 3)
