Supervision Activities

Students in Supervision will be able to choose between activities such as Homework Hall, Board Games, Outdoor Fun, Gym Play, Karaoke, and Movie Fridays (parents do NOT need to register for these choices).

In addition, students in Supervision can register to participate in one of City Academy’s “premiere” after school programs, depending on their grade level. During the first quarter, those options will be STAGES (theater), Girl Scouts, Tennis & Life Skills, and STEP Team.


Girl Scouts

A leadership program that helps build girls of courage, confidence and character—that makes the world a better place.

Piano Lab

Learn piano at your own pace in a classroom environment. No prior experience necessary! Access to a home piano/keyboard is recommended. This program will be for the entire year.

STAGES Stars

Act! Sing! Dance!  Join STAGES St. Louis in this exciting musical theatre performance class. Students will enhance their musical theater skills through fundamental vocal, dance and acting techniques, while learning teamwork and collaboration on a musical theatre production with costumes, microphones, props and more!

Programming Activities

Students in Program will be able to select specific program to register for that they are interested in. Students in Programs should be picked up as soon as their program ends. On days a student does not have a program, they need to be picked up by 4:00 p.m.

First Quarter programs start August 25 and end October 10.

Academic Excellence Study Hall

Provides an opportunity for students to focus on completing assignments, catching up on missed work, or preparing for upcoming lessons in a structured and supportive environment. During this time, students will be given the time and resources to develop better time management, organizational skills, and accountability by providing a consistent routine. The quiet setting allows for focused, distraction-free learning, improving productivity and confidence. Additionally, it encourages independence and responsibility, building habits that benefit students throughout their academic journey and beyond.

Elite Basketball Training 

I am excited to introduce a fun, structured, and skill-building After-School Basketball Program designed specifically for elementary-aged students. My program promotes teamwork, physical activity, and personal growth — while giving parents peace of mind that their children are engaged in something positive after school.

Homework/Study Session

To help students manage their time and meet academic goals, I will be hosting an extended homework/study hall for 4th-6th graders on Mondays and Wednesdays from 3:45 to 5:00 p.m. This structured environment allows students to quietly complete homework from all subjects, receive support when needed, and stay on top of deadlines. It’s a great opportunity for those who may benefit from additional time and guidance outside the regular school day.

Yoga with Yogi Smart

We offer engaging children’s workshops with fun activities, healthy snacks and opportunities to build connections. Parents and professionals appreciate the interactive games, crafts and introduction to healthy snacks.
