Second Quarter Extended Day Opportunities

Extended Day Activities Registration is OPEN! Activities start October 30. Registration will take place entirely online through GOOGLE FORMS. As always, slots for each activity are limited. You will be asked to rank the choices for your child. Please be sure to read the details of each activity below to make sure you child is eligible for the activity before signing them up. Questions? Activity Offerings

Baking Class

Learn basic baking techniques while making breads, cookies, muffins, scones and cakes from scratch.

Art experiences include painting, working with clay, and pastels.

Karate

In this program, kids will be introduced to all types of playground/backyard games like: Mat ball, Pickleball, Sharks-and-MinnowStudents will receive instruction in Mindful breathing and American Kempo. These  techniques will help to de-escalate aggression and enhance conflict resolution skills.

Homework Club

In this structured environment, students will work quietly on homework across all subjects. While this is not a mandatory study hall, if your child is having trouble completing homework, this may be a great opportunity to focus on meeting deadlines and asking for assistance as needed.

Choir

The purpose of this ensemble is to give students a creative outlet in which to expand their musical knowledge and skills, to connect with others and themselves through music and performance, and to experience what it is like to be part of a formal choir. Students will be expected to attend all rehearsals.
