If you are ready to apply for enrollment at City Academy, it is important to follow the steps below as well as pay close attention to the deadlines.

Please Note: City Academy will continue to accept applications after the dates listed below for grades with spots still available. For the 2024-25 school year, the majority of our openings are in 3rd, 5th, and 6th grade.
Application Checklist
Schedule a Tour with Stephanie Dooley
Tours are offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Call (314) 880-5013 or email sdooley@CityAcademySTL.org to sign up for a tour. We will also offer an Open House with guided tours on January 27, 2024.
Apply Online
Application forms can be completed online through our Parent Portal (ALMA). You will need to create an account to fill out an application. Once you have created an account you can start the application, save your progress to complete later, and apply for financial aid.
Once you have completed the application, please send a copy of your child’s birth certificate and social security card to Stephanie Dooley at sdooley@CityAcademySTL.org.
Financial Aid Application
The applicant’s parents must complete a Financial Aid application through our Parent Portal (ALMA). Parents must submit the following with the form:
• Most recent Form W2 (Wage & Tax Statement)
• Most recent Form 1040 (U.S. Individual Income Tax Return)
• Two most recent paystubs
Transcripts (K-6th)
Please send the Transcript Request to your child’s current school. Request that a copy of all transcripts and test scores, from kindergarten to present grade, be sent to City Academy. Applications will not be considered complete without this information. This information must be sent to City Academy directly from the school and will not be accepted if submitted by applicant’s family.
Assessment and Parent Interview
As part of the application process, your child will complete an assessment at City Academy. This process will allow us to evaluate your child’s social and academic readiness for our program. Assessments and parent interviews are scheduled on weekday mornings for younger students. Contact Stephanie Dooley for scheduling.
